Board of Directors
I am a physician and a father of 2 daughters. I have been in Cleveland, Ohio for over 20 years. I have an Ijaza in Quran. I have volunteered in many different organizations before and have expertise in handling financial aspects at those organizations.
In the summer of 2021, I moved to Cleveland and immediately connected with a group of like-minded individuals who shared the same passion for establishing a world-class school. A place that provides children a solid Islamic & academic foundation, empowering them to succeed in their communities and - God-willing - in the hereafter.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and an MBA. My core experience is in building and growing Strategic Partnerships and Alliances for some of the largest technology companies in the world. I plan to use this experience to support the growth and success of the school by promoting the use of innovative tools and technologies in the learning process, and by fostering community engagement & outreach.
The world we live in today is rapidly changing with a lot of challenges, anxiety, and yet opportunities to learn from. I am a physician scientist and a father of 2 boys. I have 3 Ijaza in Quran, one in Fiqh, and one in Arabic language. I also have a 20-year expertise in teaching different age groups, including my residents, fellows, and children as well.
I always dreamt of a school that gives our children the best Islamic education in a child-friendly manner, which parents can trust to enroll their kids into. The Ummah Center School carries the mission of building the character of future leaders of our community with strong Islamic foundations.
I work in close association with Ahlul–Quran Academy and Bayan Academy in Tampa, FL, to bring to our kids the best Islamic education that suits their lives from well-established institutions in the country.
My name is Mohammad Mouchli. I am a gastroenterologist and a father of four children. I moved to the US about 15 years ago and I dedicated some time to volunteering in multiple communities to teach Quran and Islamic studies to youth and school kids. I also spent good time learning from parents about challenges facing them raising kids in the west. I believe that we should have enough strong Islamic schools to accommodate all Muslim families, to get their kids to learn Islamic besides academic knowledge, to build a unique generation proud of its dean and very successful in his community.
I have a lot of hope in our community.
